I just got the new Master LEDbulb lamp 17W and I replaced it in a dimmable freestanding luminaire.
I was really surprised about it.
We are used to see the different light generated by compact lamps in comparison to the incandescent type and we can perceive the differences.
Do we have to prefer the energy saving insted of quality or the opposite?
I also checked the Ra with my spectroscope and it seems that it has a good value of color rendering.
With this new lamp I believe we can reach both goals:
saving energy and having a good light.
The features of dimming and the istant light increase further on his potentiality to replacing the standard bulb.
I think that this is the right way towards a complete replacing of standard bulb.
