Lighting application software: Calculux and DIALux. This is the Philips recommendation for lighting application software. The Philips Product Selector (PPS) is used for all programs.

In the downloads section of this web page you will find:

- CalcuLuX May 20th (includes Area and Road)

- Philips Product Selector (Database 24/11/2010)

- Road Wizard (1.1.1) (According CEN 13201)

Important: for Calculux you need version or higher

3d models can be found in the Philips Product Selector, but be aware that not all products have 3d models available.

Further to Clive's message, DIALux is the manufacturer-independent application that runs on Windows to analyse, visualise and simulate lighting solutions. You can use it to import architectural models (or build them within DIALux), add lights from different manufacturers and run lighting calculations to obtain information about illuminance of the space, and brightness of the different surfaces.

More info on DIALux can be found here:

The Philips Product Selector is a handy tool that includes almost all Philips products and works well together with DIALux.

    Happy light planning!
