It’s always a challenge finding the right product information when you need it. That’s why Philips has given the existing eCatalog a makeover and improved the functionality along with adding new features.
You'll notice that the search facility has been improved so you can search on product family name, order code or by using the autosuggest function. Plus, there are useful videos to download and Photometrical files to help with calculations.
One totally new feature is the Project Planner which lets you store and share your favorite products – again making product research easier and quicker.
Take a look at the video about our new features as well as the eCatalog itself and let us know what you think and what suggestions you may have. There are always more improvement and updates in the pipeline which is why your feedback and input is always valuable.
What do you find most useful when using these types of eCatalog tools? What's your biggest frustration when looking for product specific information?
The new eCatalog is certainly an improved one compared to the old version . I would like to suggest a few more features to make it more useful.
I have been a Philips lamp dealer for over 4 years now. Honestly, because the site has been so difficut to use, I quit using it. But now that I know the navigation is much better, we will start using the eCatalog again. Yea.
I agree with the suggestions Anirban made. I would include the following that was available several years ago but is not part of the current eCatalog. Allow for product numbers to be searched. I know you have multiple product numbers for each items but it would make life so much easier if most of them you were looking for would show up. We use the Lamp Specification and Application Guide and would imagine most dealers do as well. So, being able to search for an item with the 6 digit product number would be great.
Thanks for listening.
Probably I'm not doing this correctly- however I entered in search 929000702302M (multiple ways) which is a Philips DALI LED driver.
... not listed.
Also, my intent is to marry some DALI LED drivers and a few lamps for testing/demo purposes and it would be nice to find out compatibilities on products easier.
So, if you can point me in the proper direction to accomplish getting information from the ecat I can thank you in advance.
Have you tried typing the code without the M. This should work. I used the global version of the eCatlog.
Herewith the link.
Hope this helps
