As part of the 2012 Tokyo Hotaru Festival thousands of LEDs were floated down the Sumida River in Tokyo.

Brazilian firm 20.87 has just constructed the 'casa do lado' by attaching corrugated plastic panels that wrap around the entire facade, transforming it into an orthogonal elevation.
